Els efluents de les depuradores s\u00f3n una de les fonts principals de PhACs en entorns aqu\u00e0tics. De fet, la major part de les depuradores s\u00f3n dissenyades per complir nom\u00e9s amb llindars de contaminants convencionals, com s\u00f3n els nutrients, la mat\u00e8ria org\u00e0nica i els s\u00f2lids, per\u00f2 aquestes no s\u00f3n suficientment efica\u00e7os per eliminar compostos org\u00e0nics a nivells de tra\u00e7a. Es requereixen tractaments terciaris avan\u00e7ats per millorar la qualitat dels efluents de les depuradores que aboquen en masses d\u2019aigua receptores sensibles, aix\u00ed com per a la reutilitzaci\u00f3 d\u2019aigua per a consum hum\u00e0, per a la ind\u00fastria i regadius.aquesta tesi contribueix a ampliar la cerca d\u2019alternatives de tractament avan\u00e7at d\u2019aig\u00fces residuals per a l\u2019eliminaci\u00f3 de PhACs. Aquest treball proporciona informaci\u00f3 sobre l\u2019aplicabilitat de les tecnologies, els diferents mecanismes d\u2019eliminaci\u00f3 i el c\u00e0lcul dels costs operacionals.
