(ETAPs) han de produir aigua segura i de qualitat sota condicions ambientals i operatives cada vegada m\u00e9s variables. Aix\u00ed, han d\u2019adaptar cont\u00ednuament les seves estrat\u00e8gies de tractament per garantir la seguretat qu\u00edmica i microbiol\u00f2gica, especialment davant la creixent pressi\u00f3 antr\u00f2pica, la variabilitat clim\u00e0tica i unes regulacions cada vegada m\u00e9s estrictes. Aconseguir aquest equilibri requereix estrat\u00e8gies de monitoratge i de control avan\u00e7ades, capaces d\u2019integrar coneixement de proc\u00e9s, dades sensorials i suport a la presa de decisions operatives.<\/p>\n<p>En aquest context, la tesi de Laura Ferr\u00e0ndez proposa el desenvolupament de m\u00f2duls de control i la definici\u00f3 conceptual d\u2019un Sistema de Suport a la Decisi\u00f3 Ambiental orientat a millorar la gesti\u00f3 basada en el risc i la intel\u00b7lig\u00e8ncia operativa en ETAPs. El treball s\u2019ha dut a terme en el marc d\u2019un <strong>doctorat industrial amb l\u2019empresa Figueres de Serveis S.A.<\/strong> (FISERSA), utilitzant <strong>l\u2019ETAP de Figueres com a cas d\u2019estudi<\/strong>. La recerca integra enfocaments experimentals, de modelitzaci\u00f3 i operatius per abordar el repte de reduir els riscos qu\u00edmics i microbiol\u00f2gics en la producci\u00f3 d\u2019aigua potable.<\/p>\n<p>El resultat principal \u00e9s el <strong>disseny, la implementaci\u00f3 i la validaci\u00f3 a escala real d\u2019un sistema d\u2019infer\u00e8ncia difusa per a la dosificaci\u00f3 adaptativa d\u2019oz\u00f3<\/strong>. El model utilitza la senyal d\u2019absorb\u00e0ncia a 254 nm i la temperatura com a indicadors en temps real de la reactivitat de la mat\u00e8ria org\u00e0nica natural, permetent un control d\u2019oxidaci\u00f3 sota condicions variables. El controlador dif\u00fas va mostrar un comportament predictiu i robust, mantenint l\u2019efici\u00e8ncia d\u2019oxidaci\u00f3 alhora que redu\u00efa el consum de reactius, constituint una prova de concepte s\u00f2lida per a eines de control basades en dades i coneixement.<\/p>\n<p>A m\u00e9s d\u2019aquest m\u00f2dul validat, s\u2019han <strong>desenvolupat conceptualment dos m\u00f2duls addicionals<\/strong>: un per a l\u2019avaluaci\u00f3 del risc qu\u00edmic mitjan\u00e7ant la predicci\u00f3 del potencial de formaci\u00f3 de subproductes de desinfecci\u00f3, i un altre per al risc microbiol\u00f2gic basat en indicadors de carboni org\u00e0nic i de recreixements bacterians. Aquests components constitueixen la base per a la futura integraci\u00f3 dins d\u2019un marc d\u2019ajuda a la decisi\u00f3 modular que permeti una gesti\u00f3 integral i informada del risc al llarg dels diferents processos de tractament.<\/p>\n<p>En conjunt, aquesta tesi estableix un marc de connexi\u00f3 entre coneixement mecan\u00edstic, experimentaci\u00f3 i control operatiu en temps real. Els resultats proporcionen una base metodol\u00f2gica i conceptual per al desenvolupament progressiu d\u2019eines intel\u00b7ligents de suport a la decisi\u00f3 en el tractament d\u2019aigua potable, avan\u00e7ant cap a sistemes de gesti\u00f3 predictius, adaptatius i resilients que garanteixin la seguretat, la sostenibilitat i el compliment normatiu a llarg termini.<\/p>\n<p>La tesi ha estat dirigida pel Dr. H\u00e8ctor Moncl\u00fas i per la Dra Alba Cabrera del grup de recerca LEQUIA de la Universitat de Girona (UdG), que compta amb un important bagatge de recerca i transfer\u00e8ncia en sistemes de tractament d\u2019aigua potable.
