In the dynamic realm of artificial intelligence (AI), the scarcity of competent scientific leaders poses a significant challenge. The ever-expanding horizons of AI create a need for professionals with interdisciplinary and innovative thinking skills to effectively leverage the emerging opportunities in the field. With the support of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions programme, the RAMON LLULL project is developing a transformative solution. Offering 33 three-year fellowships, the project aims to cultivate researchers into adept leaders through interdisciplinary R&D projects. Supported by the Catalan government and guided by the principles of open science, this initiative promises to elevate the Catalan R&D ecosystem, paving the way for a transformative future in AI.
