LEQUIA renews its recognition as “stablished research group” by AGAUR for 2026-2028

The Chemical and Environmental Engineering Laboratory (LEQUIA) of the University of Girona (UdG) has been recognised by the Agency for Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR) as an “established research group with funding” under the SGR-Cat 2025 call for proposals, which was provisionally resolved last Friday, 30 October.

The aim of this call is to strengthen Catalonia’s research and innovation system, enhance its scientific, economic and social impact, and promote its international projection. The resolution recognises 1,361 research groups, 841 of which have been awarded funding to carry out their scientific activities over a three-year period. Within the University of Girona, LEQUIA is one of the three research groups to have received the highest level of funding (€75,000).
