SILCAP
Selective siloxane capture for indoor pco
This project has as main goal developing new adsorbent materials for the selective capture of methyl siloxanes. These molecules, which are present in a wide range of healthcare and cleaning products, are one of the main enemies of current indoor air purifiers based on catalytic photo-oxidation. Dr Alba Cabrera, the beneficiary postdoctoral fellow, will carry out this industrial R&D project at Cabot Corporation facilities in Boston (Massachussets, USA) and at LEQUIA laboratories.
